Quiz answers and results

Quiz progress and the most recent result are stored in your browser using localStorage. They are not sent to an Am I Chinese? account or results database because those systems do not exist in the first version.

The result page reads the saved result from the same browser. A result will not automatically appear on another device.

Sharing

Share cards are generated locally in your browser. A downloaded image contains the score, personality, five dimension values, brand, and a culture-not-identity statement.

Challenge links contain only a personality type. They do not contain answers or the total score. If you use your device's share menu, the selected app processes the content under its own privacy policy.

Analytics

The site may use lightweight analytics configured by the operator to understand page visits and broad actions such as quiz starts, completions, downloads, and share clicks.

Product events do not include question answers, scores, names, faces, free text, ethnicity, nationality, or precise location. The P0 product does not set marketing or advertising cookies. Google Analytics, Clarity, and AdSense remain disabled unless a separate consent mechanism is introduced.

Information we do not request

• Photos, face scans, identity documents, DNA, or ancestry records
• Names, account profiles, email addresses, or phone numbers for quiz completion
• Free-text identity descriptions or political views
• Precise location or access to contacts

Clear your data

Use Start over or Retake the quiz to remove saved quiz state. You can also clear this site's local storage through your browser settings.

Blocking localStorage does not stop the current session, but progress may disappear when the page refreshes.

Policy changes

This policy will be updated if accounts, server storage, new analytics providers, advertising, or other data practices are introduced. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
